The Ruane Center for the Humanities, designed by S/L/A/M Collaborative (Boston) and Sullivan Buckingham Architects (Boston), was completed in 2013. Construction manager was Dimeo Construction (Providence). The Collegiate Gothic style building successfully bridges the architectural landscape between a Brutalist library and the Collegiate Gothic science laboratories.
The building won a 2015 Palladio Award.
